Before the seal of the pail is broken the food within has a virtually indefinite shelf-life. At the time the seal is broken the product within will maintain acceptable quality for 24 months when kept at ambient temperature conditions (70° F). Product should be kept in a cool and dry storage (less than 45% relative humidity) to obtain optimal retention of color, flavor, and overall quality.
Beef Rice Dinner: 100 g (3/4 cup)
1. Shake content of bag before opening.
2. In a saucepan add bag with ½ tbs butter or margarine (optional) and 1 ¾ cups of water. Stir occasionally and bring to boil.
3. Stir, reduce heat, cover and simmer over low heat for 25 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
4. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
Chicken Rice Dinner: 100 g (3/4 cup)
1. Shake content of bag before opening.
2. In a saucepan add bag with ½ tbs butter or margarine (optional) and 1 ¾ cups of water. Stir occasionally and bring to boil.
3. Stir, reduce heat, cover and simmer over low heat for 25 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
4. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
Red Beans and Rice: 100 g (3/4 cup)
1. Shake content of bag before opening.
2. In a pot, add 1 ¼ cups of water per every 2/3 cups of dry product. Add 1/2 tablespoon or butter or margarine (optional).
3. Stir, reduce heat, cover and simmer over for 20-25 minutes or until rice is done. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
4. Remove form heat, let stand 5 minutes. Stir and serve.
Chicken Fried Rice w/ TVP Chicken: 100 g (3/4 cup)
1. Shake content of bag before opening.
2. Add 2 cups water per every 2/3 cup dry mix. Add of margarine or olive oil (optional).
3. Bring the mix to boil.
4. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 25 minutes.
5. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
6. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
Harvest Vegetable Pro: 100 g (3/4 cup)
1. Combine 1 cup of dry blend to 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil.
2. Reduce heat to simmer and cover.
3. Cook 20-25 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
