Description
It is the policy of Archon Group L.P.'s ("Archon") Legal Department to ensure that all legal services are performed with the highest integrity and in accordance with the finest ethical standards of the legal profession.
Role of Legal Department
Provide general legal advice to the Archon staff
Maintain a List of Approved Legal Counsel
Determine which law firms are engaged to perform legal services in accordance with the approved list and conflicts of interest
Obtain and furnish competent legal professional services at the best available cost, delivered in the time appropriate for each matter
Oversee the management of Outside Counsel
Review and approve legal bills in such amounts as are reasonable
Evaluate legal strategy of Outside Counsel and coordinate legal issues
Evaluate threats or claims and assess any potential liability
Maintain and monitor policies ensuring competent and costeffective legal services
