Pilot Station
Pilot Beacon
The AirWalk PilotStation is a highly optimized, stand-alone CDMA Pilot Beacon that delivers dramatic cost-savings for operators by optimizing network RF performance. Designed specifically for CDMA networks, the PilotStation transmits only the Pilot, Paging and Sync (PPS) overhead channels that are necessary for operators to retain high-revenue subscribers at cell edges and borders.
By extending PPS coverage, the PilotStation creates more accurate handoff performance and promotes more efficient utilization of legacy equipment.
Retains user on operators' networks in areas of poor RF coverage to support additional revenue streams
Supports indoor/outdoor handoffs for seamless coverage
Reduces dropped calls between high and low capacity cells to improve customer satisfaction
The unrivaled platform makes the PilotStation ideal for leveraging seamless wireless transitions on high-cost traffic carrying hardware in areas such as cell edges and borders, in-building networks and enterprise networks.
