Polyurethane Enamels

HSU SeriesTec-Thane Iii High Solids, High Build Polyurethane EnamelsTec-thane III is a two-component modified-acrylic urethane enamel having unsurpassed gloss and color retention. The hard slick Tec-thane film is very resistant to dirt , stains, acids, alkalis, solvents and petroleum fuels. Provides "wet look" depth of gloss with no clear coat and faster handle times than other high-depth urethanes.

Recommended Uses:
Designed for use in the transportation,chemical processing, oil field, marine, bridge, steel tank and miscellaneous equipment industries. An excellent top coat over epoxy coatings where gloss and color retention is paramount. Can be used over properly prepared primed and unprimed metal, masonry, fiberglass, plastic and wood. Dries quickly with outstanding gloss. Has outstanding acid resistance.

Recommended Primers:

DTM: performs well on clean metal
Iron/Steel: Severe Environments:
TS-140 Epoxy Primer (thinfilm)
E-6002 Epoxy Primer (high-build film)
E-8001Epoxy Primer (best chemical resistance)
Wood: This product is self priming: apply 2 coats
Aluminum/Galvanized: TS-140, E6002 or E-8001
Masonry: E-6002 or E-8001
Fiberglass: This product is self priming: apply 2 coats or TS-140 Epoxy Primer may be applied.
