Rehabilitation & Community Services

The Dallas Lighthouse provides a variety of services and training that enable our clients to adapt to their vision impairments and maintain their independence. Our specialists make individual assessments of each client and customize a program for them that includes training, recommending certain adaptive devices and coordinating assistance from other organizations and agencies.

Community Services reaches out to foundations, corporate partners and other funders for their support of Dallas Lighthouse programs. The expertise and experience of the Community Services team also gives Lighthouse clients a connection to the many agencies and services across North Texas that provide services that enhance their quality of life.
