Once the label is applied if it is "tampered" with or removal is attempted then the label while pulling apart, leaves a portion of the label itself in a "checkerboard" pattern or a "void" pattern depending upon your choice.
Tamper-proof Labels

These labels use the same concept as the tamper-evident however instead of leaving a pattern, Tamper-PROOF labels break apart in tiny pieces therefore making it impossible to remove the label without evidence.
